1965 K code BARN FIND. This car was sitting in a barn in Northern Michigan for years. Origionally brought back from California. It is an origional K code car with the inner apron VIN numbers still stamped in them. We hooked up a battery and a can of gas and the car did crank over and run, but only for a few seconds as the carb needs rebuilding. The car needs all the typical sheet metal work done. The 1/4's need replaced as well as the drivers door and a one piece floor pan. Front end is decent. Hood, fenders and front sheet metal useable. I have an origional rust free trunk lid I will donate to the buyer. Seats and dash pad in good shape. It has the origional 9 inch rear end. Origional 4-speed toploader K code tranny, origional air cleaner and valve covers. Origional motor was replaced years ago. LESS than 1% of all mustangs were HIPO "K" code cars. The car rolls and steers easily. If you are going to restore a classic Mustang it makes sence to put your money in one that will have value when it is done. I can be contacted at 269-317-7349.
