The car starts right up and runs well. The transmission engages properly and the car accelerates without hesitation. The car is very attractive as-is however it is far from perfect. Mechanically she is in good shape. The brakes stop the car but will need attention. The body does look like it has had some repair to the passenger side (see pics). There is some minimal rust underneath but nothing structural (good floors & solid frame/trunk). The paint finish has a nice shine to it however there are multiple imperfections (nicks, chips, dings, small dents, chips, scratches, etc). All of the glass is present and the windows roll up and down. The missing handle on the passenger door is in the glove box. The car still has it's factory original radio in the un-cut dash and a more modern radio in the glove compartment. The soft top is in poor condition. We have a brand new soft top for the new owner. The power top works (latches down tight) with help but has a tired top motor. The seats are in good condition with no tears. At some point the title was branded a salvaged title? We cannot speculate as to why? Overall this is a car with little tlc would make a perfect beach cruiser, it might be a tall order to do a full restoration but could definitely be worth it over time. Again, this car is a solid driver that has a lot of appeal/potential and can be enjoyed daily, but will need to be gone through before taking any long road trips. Bid accordingly. The car is also available for sale locally and is subject to removal from the auction at anytime should it be sold. Shipping can be arranged worldwide. California residents are required to pay California sales tax and all other fees prior to delivery. Out of state buyers only pay fees in there home state.
