This Factory Five is no “Kit Car” professionally built with the very discriminating taste in mind. No expense spared in the build of this phenomenal MKII. First take one of the most successful tribute builders and add one of the best paint jobs and you have everyone turning heads! This Cobra is out of Passing Lane Motors LLC Founders personal collection. Daryl will tell you that this is one of the fastest and best driving cars he has ever driven!! Exterior…..The classic styling of the Factory Five Racing MKII combined with the outstanding paint and color combination makes for a very stylish and eye catching piece. The Black main color is very close to being flawless then add the red stripes which makes this car stand out no matter where you are. A super color combination that is not very present in the Cobra circuit. A added touch are the Lucas Head Lights and Lucas Glass Tail Lights. The very rare and not seen on many Cobras are the gas shocks that keep the hood up with out that annoying hood rod. Then add the Trigo Pin Drive vintage style “true” Knock Off Wheels. Which are wrapped by Goodyear Eagle GTII tires 295/50R15 rear and 235/60R15 Front. Interior…..Beautiful Black leather Seats and Dash with a exceptional instrument cluster by Autometer that is easy to read and very user friendly to let you know that all systems are a go day or night! Full Racing harness for you and your passenger just in case you want to let all those horses loose!!! Engine …..Starting with a 1970 Big Block 460 punched out .030 over D0OE Rods and Speed Pro pistons 10:1….. Now with this huge amount of Cubes we need to breath, so add a Edelbrock performer RPM intake and Manifold with matching Cam and Lifter set and Aluminum Heads .95 CC and a complete set of Harland Sharp Roller Rockers….. Now we can breath, let’s put the fuel in, supplied by a dual line Holly 750, Now with lot’s of air and fuel we need a fire! So let’s get it started by a MSD 6AL ignition box to a matching MSD Billet Distributor and Blaster 2 Coil. Now we can breath and burn!!! To dispose of all that spent fuel put it out through a set of Hooker Headers and Sharp looking Ceramic coated side pipes. Okay we have a super hot burning and breathing engine so let’s keep it cool with a Tristates Aluminum radiator and electric fan combined with a Mocal Engine up front oil cooler. Complete Dyno sheets included!! Transmission……Take a 1967 wide ratio Top Loader completely rebuild it, then add a 12” HD Sachs clutch assembly with a hydraulic clutch and Hurst shifter and you can put all those horses to the pavement without disappointment. Suspension…..FFR IRS rear suspension with a Ford 8.8 Trac-Loc Posi supported by Pro Shock Billet Shocks on all four corners with 600LB Coil Over springs. Front suspension is Pole Position Adjustable upper A arms With Tubular Lowers. To stop all this power there is off course 4 wheel disk brakes. The entire frame is fully powder coated and looks stunning, no garage build here!! In closing…..If your looking for a cheap garage built project, well then this MKII is not for you. This Factory Five is no “Kit Car” professionally built with the very discriminating taste in mind. No expense spared in the build of this phenomenal MKII. First take one of the most successful tribute builders and add one of the best paint jobs and you have everyone turning heads! This Cobra is out of Passing Lane Motors LLC Founders personal collection. Daryl will tell you that this is one of the fastest and best driving cars he has ever driven!!

Exterior…..

The classic styling of the Factory Five Racing MKII combined with the outstanding paint and color combination makes for a very stylish and eye catching piece. The Black main color is very close to being flawless then add the red stripes which makes this car stand out no matter where you are. A super color combination that is not very present in the Cobra circuit. A added touch are the Lucas Head Lights and Lucas Glass Tail Lights. The very rare and not seen on many Cobras are the gas shocks that keep the hood up with out that annoying hood rod. Then add the Trigo Pin Drive vintage style “true” Knock Off Wheels. Which are wrapped by Goodyear Eagle GTII tires 295/50R15 rear and 235/60R15 Front.

Interior…..

Beautiful Black leather Seats and Dash with a exceptional instrument cluster by Autometer that is easy to read and very user friendly to let you know that all systems are a go day or night! Full Racing harness for you and your passenger just in case you want to let all those horses loose!!!

Engine …..

Starting with a 1970 Big Block 460 punched out .030 over D0OE Rods and Speed Pro pistons 10:1….. Now with this huge amount of Cubes we need to breath, so add a Edelbrock performer RPM intake and Manifold with matching Cam and Lifter set and Aluminum Heads .95 CC and a complete set of Harland Sharp Roller Rockers….. Now we can breath, let’s put the fuel in, supplied by a dual line Holly 750, Now with lot’s of air and fuel we need a fire! So let’s get it started by a MSD 6AL ignition box to a matching MSD Billet Distributor and Blaster 2 Coil. Now we can breath and burn!!! To dispose of all that spent fuel put it out through a set of Hooker Headers and Sharp looking Ceramic coated side pipes. Okay we have a super hot burning and breathing engine so let’s keep it cool with a Tristates Aluminum radiator and electric fan combined with a Mocal Engine up front oil cooler. Complete Dyno sheets included!!

Transmission……

Take a 1967 wide ratio Top Loader completely rebuild it, then add a 12” HD Sachs clutch assembly with a hydraulic clutch and Hurst shifter and you can put all those horses to the pavement without disappointment.

Suspension…..

FFR IRS rear suspension with a Ford 8.8 Trac-Loc Posi supported by Pro Shock Billet Shocks on all four corners with 600LB Coil Over springs. Front suspension is Pole Position Adjustable upper A arms With Tubular Lowers. To stop all this power there is off course 4 wheel disk brakes. The entire frame is fully powder coated and looks stunning, no garage build here!!
