1967 Pontiac Lemans 2 dr post coupe GTO clone This is the rare, stronger body, sport coupe with a post NOT a hardtop. 400 w Ram Air 744 cam and manifolds, 4sp, 3.55 posi, factory A/C car, front discs, Rally gauges and wood wheel. This car has been garaged since 1987 and has NOT been out in the rain or driven on wet roads since 1995! Everything on this car is a correct copy of 67 GTO except for the VIN #. Instead of 24207, it is a 23707. Paint is a 1975 Corvette blue basecoat clearcoat and is beautiful. This color is real close to original Tyrol Blue. Interior is the medium blue with all the correct GTO emblems. Factory Rally gauges all work with in dash 6cyl 6500RPM redline tach (but reads fast because it is hooked to the engine which is firing 8 times per revolution instead of 6 times) and factory wood wheel. Mallory rev-limiter tach on column and Hurst Line-Loc.Engine still runs strong with only 25k miles on a complete rebuild/blueprinting and is a 1970 400 block 030 over TRW pistons, melling high volume oil pump, correct for 67 GTO #670 heads, Ram Air #9785744 cam (stamped H) w/.424 lift and duration specs of 301int and 313ex, reproduction cast iron factory Ram Air manifolds/headers, stock quadrajet 4bl carb, Pertronix Ignitor II electronic ignition. Still has original 10.75:1 compression. Exhaust is 2 1/2" Pypes X crossover w/dumps and 2 chamber flowmasters and mandrel bent 2 1/2 " tailpipes. Has correct heavy duty radiator(taller core) and core support used in A/C cars and Ram Air cars so runs super cool even in hot weather. Factory A/C car with evaporator and condenser removed but still has all under dash ducts and components. Has fast ratio late model Monte Carlo power steering box. 1971 vintage single piston caliper front disc brakes. Fine spline input (26 spline)and large output shaft(like turbo 400) heavy duty wide ratio muncie 4sp with correct Hurst shifter, all rebuilt. Hays steel flywheel and heavy duty 11" clutch. Stock 10 bolt Pontiac rear end with brand new in 2010 Richmond gears 3.55 ratio and Auburn differential/posi unit. Cragar SS/T rims and BF Goodrich Radial T/A's. Rear anti-sway bar and boxed lower control arms from 1970 GTO. Has reproduction rear frame braces (in-between upper and lower front control arm bushing mounts). This is an older body off frame restoration with 43,550 miles on it and is still looking great. New front bumper and grilles. Frame has no rust, floors are all original with no rust, trunk pan was replaced, left quarter is all original steel and right quarter had a patch panel welded in behind rear wheel. This is a great cruise night car and if you do not tell anyone, they will never know it is not a real GTO.Check out the videos I have posted on you tube... there are six of them... video quality is not great but make sure when you watch them the quality setting is in HD.
