Vehicle Detail

The Mystery MachineAs seen on Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins. Yes, this is the actual van used in the movie! Recently featured in the Vancouver Metro Newspaper, I'm looking to sell it to the highest bidder. I've been driving this around for a year now and it's been in the family for three years before that. The response from everyone who sees it is phenomenal. If I had $1 for every picture taken of the van, I would be a very rich man! DescriptionOriginally a Telus fleet vehicle, the van behind the paint is a 1994 Chevy G10 (not a G20 as noted in the posting title). Mechanically it runs great, it's got under 100,000 km (62,000 mi). The back of the van is wide open. It's like a blank canvas, you can do whatever you want with it. As it is, it's great for transporting stuff, with wooden racks and custom fitted plywood floor. One thing to note is that in order to get movie cameras into the vehicle, the film crew cut out two large holes in the roof, one in the front and one in the back. These have been patched over and unless you spend a lot of time staring at the ceiling of the van, you'll hardly notice them. I've included a picture of the front patch. It's also visible on the front interior shot. I've recently noticed that there seems to be a small leak in the rear patch which can be fixed with some caulking. The painting is not 100% completed on the passengers side. As far as I know, they had to go solve a mystery while painting this side so it was never completed. This scene did not make it into the movie and only the drivers side was shown. There are some bangs and dents in the body of the van. Many of them were put in by the film crew to make it look more authentic. There are a few spots on the body with some minor rusting. Overall it's still in great shape, the rust is nothing too serious. *Under 100,000 km*Air cared until January 24, 2013*Crisp, and clear sounding AM radio (cassette option not included)*Two spare wheels c/w tires Recent Service History*New starter motor - Aug 7, 2012*New muffler - Aug 7, 2012*New intermediate & tail pipe - Aug 7, 2012*New rear wheel cylinders - Aug 15, 2012*New rear brake lines - Aug 15, 2012*New front brake pads - Aug 15, 2012 ShippingPickup/delivery can be arranged anywhere in the Vancouver area.
