Bought this car with the intention of using it as a daily driver, but have come to realize it is a bit too nice, and I honestly would feel bad doing so This is my 2nd 2002. I found this car in Boulder, CO. The previous owner was a large scale collector of classic mini's and other euros. He purchased it in 2000 and it underwent a massive 2 year restoration. 1971 BMW 2002 - Chamonix White with black leather interior -Chamonix/ Black interior -M10 with 4 speed. -Numbers matching motor. Was fully cleaned, rebuilt and sorted during resto. Just had a new fuel pump and brand new 32/36 Weber. Open up the oil cap and see it is all new. No gunk, varnish etc Brakes/clutch all new. Bushings new, suspension new. Seats are perfect, as well as all door panels, headliner. Dash has a small crack. All gauges and lights work. No rust on the body whatsoever. Paint is a 9.5 out of 10. Whom ever did the paint was damn good at what he does. Interior is a 9 out of 10. Only thing keeping it from being perfect is the drivers side has a small peice of carpet that needs to be installed. Chrome is very clean, 2-3 small dings on grill that could be worked out. All rubber is new. Glass is perfect. Have tons of extra parts, and trim. Original tool kit. There is some rust on the driver side frame rail (I have learned this is quite common and can be repaired - http://www.bmw2002faq DOT com/content/view/33/32/). Undercarriage is extremely clean, as well as the trunk, strut towers etc. Small ding on chrome belt line and under license plate, and driver side lower moulding is not installed. I have receipts from recent work done. Any and all inspections are welcomed! I am in no rush to sell this car. This would be the perfect investment for someone who wants a clean, dry 2002. No need to get it painted, or redo this and that. But you can still tinker and enjoy it. I can provide more pictures and videos for interested parties.
