Original 1958 Chevrolet Impala Sport Coupe for sale. This car has the 348 engine with a four barrel carburetor and an automatic (powerglide) transmission. I have not run the numbers but I believe this is the original engine and transmission. The engine starts right up and runs good. I drive it around the yard occasionally but don’t drive it far because of the tires and one of the brakes tries to lock up. The odometer is showing 83,841 miles. This car has the original seats and interior right down to the original radio. Everything seems to be in working order except for the one brake that tries to lock up and the water pump is leaking some water. The car does have some rust that will need attention. It will need a trunk pan in it as you can see from the pictures and has some rust on the bottom of the passenger side door and at the bottom of the quarter panels. It also may need some repair in the rear floor pans and around the chrome piece at the back of the roof. This would be a great restoration project. These cars are extremely hard to find and are worth the restoration. I have a very reasonable reserve on this car and will require that full payment be made within 3 business days of auction close. The car is being sold “As Is / Where Is” and is being sold with a Bill of Sale.
