I have had several questions regarding titling this bike. I have a title to this bike from the state of Missouri issued 3/17/81. It was sold to a dealer in 4-13-1981 and reassigned to a registered dealer in 4-2-2003. The name of the reassigned registered dealer remains on the title. The title was never updated to the dealer. The registered dealer sold it to me via ebay in Jan. 2012. The state of Missouri DMV would issue a title to the person who sold it to my for a late fee of $250.00. The state of Georgia does not issue titles to vehicles older than 1985. They simply run a backgroung check, file the Bill of Sale and require insurance to gain registration and plates. If your state requires a title, and a Bill of Sale, along with the Missouri Title and trail of transactions does not qualify to title the bike, then please don't bid. With the original sale cost + transportation to Georgia, new parts & paint I am selling the bike as a loss. It is a hobby for me and another bike is already being restored (1964 CA95).
