I974 VW Type 2 Transporter Bus. Vehicle is in very good condition for 38 years old. Prior owner had been modestly restoring for 3 years. Engine runs great (new engine with less than 2500 miles on it) and vehicle body has minor wear, no rust abrasions, and has been recently repainted. Improvement List : New tires, new shocks, new battery, new clutch, rebuilt carb, headliner, paint, foot pedal covers, six speaker radio/cd, old fashioned OORAGHA horn, new side relector lenses, tail lights, head lights, mirrors, handles etc. Original owners manual, with complete Haynes repair manual included. The bus needs a new heater and window washer system. It was not run during the winter and was used only as a summer ride. The roof has a dent in it but it is not noticeable unless you are viewing the van from an aerial perspective. This vehicle is a head turner, and has been care for very well. Recently purchased but selling to buy a cabin. I hate to have to sell it, but cannot have both the van and the cabin. Serious inquires only. Sale if final.
