Up for auction is a 1970 Buick Lesabre custom convertible with a little over 98,000 miles on it . I bought this car about 10 years ago to restore but never did it ,I bought a new top and glass rear window for it because the one on it has a few small rips in it ,and it will be in the trunk with the top boot for the next owner to put on ,tires are almost new ,chrome wheels are in very nice shape ,front bumper is nice rear bumper is ok.Bought this car about 10 years ago from Oregon and the body ,doors and frame are very solid ,there is no frame rust at all and the body has never had any rust repair ,undercarriage is excellent , but since i have owned it there is some rust in the trunk floor from water leaking through the top with one small hole ,also there is surface rust on the interior floor panels with a few pin holes . The car was painted a long time ago and it needs to be redone , the driver rear fender was repainted due to damage to that fender along time ago and it is cracking and looks bad. The top works well,engine runs well and does not blow smoke ,it shifts with no issues . This car was used in the filming of Men in Black 3 and also Blood Ties , and before it went to the set the driver rear fender was quickly painted to hide the cracking paint so it looks a little better but the car needs the paint redone, I did strip the trunk and repaint it and it looks very good .It is a very solid car to restore or drive as is, the body is straight ,frame is perfect .The interior was redone a long ago with incorrect materials ,carpet is pretty new and correct ,all glass is good ,fuel gauge is not working.
