Up for auction is a 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with low 54,668 miles. The car has a very good running v6 that starts right up and will drive you across country ,transmission shifts smoothly . I have changed a few belts and hoses and tires are brand new ,the spare tire looks as though it was never used . Exterior is very original ,it even has its original painted factory pin stripes,but the paint is thin and not as shiny as it should be , somebody key scraped the trunk and it has a few dings and dents, but there is no rust through on the car ,just a few dots of surface rust. The interior in in very nice condition ,the bucket seats are almost perfect with only a small amount of vinyl damage on the driver side outer edge,seating surfaces show very little wear. carpet is not worn or damaged ,dash is excellent .Bumper moldings are in the trunk ,chrome peeled off but they are still usable if you want to put them back on ,I bought a roll of mylar to recover them but only got the front lowers done. The car is located in Hauppauge ,which is Long Island, NY. This vehicle was not affected by flooding or any other storm related damage , coastal areas of Long Island had flooding but I live as far inland as you can get and my town had no flooding at all ,just a few trees down in my neighborhood due to high winds ,but I had no damage at all.
