Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a beautifully done, replica Honda CR750 . The bike was built using a 1975 CB750, including modified standard frame, dual disk (SBS single piston) front brakes, full CR750 body work (from Airtech) with Honda racing graphics/paint scheme, hand built exhaust and completely hand built aluminum gas tank. Sun Rims, Keihin CR carbs with K&N air filters. Motor was tore down and built by Combustion Cycles of Durham N.C. Ported / polished and bored to 836 c.c. This bike was built by an older gentleman and took just over 5 years to complete. The amount of detail and care put into this bike is unbelievable, I'm pretty sure this guy was border line OCD, lol. I have many photos of the build in progress and a box FULL of receipts, hundreds of receipts totaling around $18,000. All the notes, sketches and photos of the build are included with the bike. I'm positive I have left out many other features of this bike, hopefully the pictures will show it all, please look at all pictures carefully. Since the completed the bike has roughly 25 miles on it, The motor is NOT broke in yet. I can deliver or meet halfway for $1 a loaded mile A $300 non refundable deposit will be due at end of auction. Here is a link to the video of the bike running http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRKHsafJcy8&list=UL I also forgot to mention that there is a small crack on the right side fairing, by the Castrol logo, it is covered by a red piece of tape, you can see it in the pictures. I havent taken the tape off to look at it but from what I can tell its pretty small. On Dec-03-12 at 04:14:11 PST, seller added the following information: THIS BIKE WILL SELL TONIGHT! NO RESERVE!
