Vehicle Detail

FUZZY DICE AUTOS Has up for auction a very rare and extremely desirable 1966 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III Series BJ8 Roadster. This was a one-owner car until August of this year when it was sold to a gentleman through Ebay. Shortly after purchasing the car the buyer came down with an illness that forced him to sell the car back to the original owner. We are once again selling this beautiful collector car for its original owner. This is a fully documented beauty that comes with all its papers including the original bill of sale, title, hard cover owner’s manual and photographs of its restoration. The owner purchased his Healey 3000 new in 1966 when he entered medical school in North Carolina. He used it as his daily driver for many years to follow. Then six years ago he decided to have his baby restored to new. The car was born Healey Blue but underwent a slightly different color change that’s very similar but a bit more on the silver/blue side. This is a documented 44,726 mile roadster that runs and drives as she did in 1966. The drive train, engine, transmission and engine components are original to the car. A full account of its service history comes with the car. The body is in excellent condition. The paint is blemish free and shines like new. The chrome is above average showing some age here and there but certainly presents well. The blue convertible top is brand new. The car does come with the convertible top boot and taneau cover both in excellent condition. The interior for the most part is brand new. The seat covers, door panel covering and carpeting are new. The dash panel, gauges and wood dash are original to the car and are in very nice condition. The original wood dash does as you’d expect show ageing cracks but in my opinion add to the historical look of the automobile. I would not replace the wood dash. The trunk compartment still has the original spare strapped down and also has its original jacking system intact. The trunk pan and floors are rust free and solid. There is no under carriage rust or damage of any kind. The car was never in an accident. I can provide you serious bidders with any additional photographs you desire. This is an expensive investment and we expect a large request of additional information and pictures, all of which we have available to you. The photographs you do see were taken with a simple point and shoot camera. No “photo shop” pictures here! But I will say that the car looks even better in person. The Austin Healey 3000 is topping the charts as being one of the most sought after roadsters on the market. And in today’s soft collector car market, the Healey 3000 continues to rise in value and popularity. This is a very special car for the person who demands the very best. I only wish I could own her….. BEST OF LUCK BIDDING!!
