1997 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie 5.9L Cummins Diesel 12 Valve Regular Cab Automatic. It has 108,022 miles. It is in very nice condition with normal wear and tear. It is white with gray cloth interior. It is a two-owner, non-smoker’s truck. It has the famous 5.9L Cummins 12 Valve motor. It has all the SLT Laramie features and some upgrades. Here are a few of the notable features: automatic transmission, spray-in bed liner, trailer tow package, cassette/cd player, power driver’s seat, sliding rear window, PrimeLock Remote Fuel Filter System, and much more. Truck comes with 2 keys and 1 key fob. There is not an owner’s manual. On the exterior, the truck has a very sharp appearance without any large dents. There is some normal wear and tear, but not excessive. The most notable areas of wear are as follows: there is a small dent on the passenger side bed about a foot from the cab ; there is a similar small dent on driver’s side front fender; the front marker light on the passenger’s side is cracked and offset (there is a scrape in the fender by this same light); there are wear marks/scuffs which removed paint on the hood, tailgate, and front fender; and there are door dings and rock chips which are normal for this year truck, but not excessive. Most of these areas are clearly shown in pictures. The spray-in bed liner is great condition. Per the previous owner, all of the paint is original and it has never been in an accident. Autocheck shows an accident, but previous owner states a trailer, which was connected to the truck, was damaged, not the truck itself. The interior is in remarkable shape. All the power windows, door locks, etc work great. A/C and heater work great. The dash and instrument panel are exceptionally nice with no cracks. There is a dash cover, which comes with the truck. The fabric on the seats, headliner, carpet, and door panels are all in remarkable condition with no stains or major wear. There are storage additions behind the seats. Mechanically, the engine runs very strong. The transmission shifts as it should, and the suspension is solid. The Bridgestone V-Steel load range E tires have 80%+ tread remaining. The tire size is 245/75/16. Per previous owner, the 4.10 limited slip axle was replaced with a 3.73 axle before he purchased the truck. This truck runs very strong and has been well maintained. It has not been used as a work truck. Overall this truck is very straight and in nice condition. The Cummins 12 valve has a very good reputation. Regular cab, SLT Laramie 4x4’s in this condition are getting more and more difficult to find. This is a NO RESERVE auction and the high bidder takes the truck home.
