Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 89k original mile Rio Red Cobra. First off, the car is a salvage title. It was purchased from an auto appraiser who purchased the car because it didnt have any structural damage. All repairs were performed beautifully and the car looks excellent. Its well worth it and here's why. AFR 165 Stud mount heads Comp Chromoly magnum Jr. Rockers Crane 2030 Cam Ford Racing pushrods Cloys True Set timing chain Fluidyne radiator Stewart Stage 1 water pump Trick Flow valve covers and oil fill kit Russel SS brake lines ARP everything on the engine. (Head bolt, exhaust bolts, intake etc) H&R race springs with bilstein front struts and stock rear springs with tokico shocks OEM Cobra R rims OEM 93 Cobra intake and appropriate fix TB setup Edelbrock 70mm TB BBK headers BBK Catted mid pipe Flowmaster american thunder cat back. B&M Short throw shifter Cobra R Cowl Hood 3.27 gears Black leather interior with fully functional mach 460 sound system. A/C and heat and all functions work 100% New timing cover Extended Ball Joint kit New air pump, PCV valve, EGR etc Front tires are like new, back tires are in need of replacing. Exterior is in good condition. It needs another pass with metal glaze to remove the fine swirls. Hood has some hairline webbing thats common with fiberglass hoods Also has a few very small very minor dings that a couple hours at a PDR shop could remove without issue Leather is in near perfect condition and was prepped monthly with mink oil. Passed smog like the car was stock, and is currently registered until I think April? of next year I bought this car from a buddy who had this to say about the car when I bought it "I bought the car about 5 years ago as a salvage when the prior owner was in an accident. It needed a bumper, hood, fender, radiator support and airbags. I'm an auto appraiser by trade and would not have bought the car had there been extensive structural damage. I had all the body work done (which looks great), and added a Cobra R fiberglass hood. I've gone through the car to make sure it was 100% reliable and had all the best parts put on it. The A/C works great and was just serviced." Those things are still true, heat and A/c works flawlessly. The cruise control can work if you get creative with the cable drive as the car has the more desireable fox body throttle body setup. Car is sold as-is, no warranties expressed or implied, slighty variations may occur between now and the time the vehicle sells. It gets started and driven daily but not alot. However the miles are still accruing. Maintanence is still being done. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time since the car is for sale locally.
