It was professionally done so that the original Lincoln key fob starts the vehicle. All you have to do is click the lock button on the remote twice and the car will start. Click the lock button twice again and it will turn off. This is a great feature in the winter. You can start the car from your window and by the time your ready to leave, the car will be heated up and warm inside for your journey to work.
