For Sale: 2006 Chevrolet Express Van 3/4 ton This is one of our delivery vans we are retiring. The 4.8l Vortec V8 runs fine and has under 144k miles. It has been well used and needs some work. It drives straight, but the steering is a bit loose and will shimmy sometimes over 45mph, but not always. There is no major rust on the body, but there is a dent on the passenger side, see pics. The check engine light is on, the codes are for the O2 sensors downstream; the reason for the codes is that there are no downstream O2 sensors present in the exhaust system. In 2009 someone stole the catalytic converters off this van and they were replaced with generic converters which had no provision for the extra O2 sensors. Thus, it will probably not pass a state inspection- and we make no claims as such. In Ohio there is no inspection, so it is passable here. There is a jack, but no spare. The van has always been reliable, but we have replaced it in our fleet with a new van. Tires are pretty much worn out, but not bald. It has a class 3-4 hitch with an electric brake controller. It has never been in any major accidents. This is a great chance to pick up a heavy duty cargo van on a NO RESERVE AUCTION.
