Up for auction, my Mercedes 300TD Wagon. Very rare model imported to the US, equiped with a FACTORY manual 5 speed transmission euro specs, as well as, power sunroof, ABS system, fully operational central door lock, no unsufull gadgets that always cost a fortune to maintain and repair, no power windows, no cruise control. NOTHING TO BRAKE DOWN !!!! With the manual gearbox, the Mercedes wagon diesel get you over 40 MPG for a wagon that's just amazing. All instruments are still in KM, original instruments. Interior is fabric, please note that the hood have some scratches as seen on the pictures, little dings in some parts but overall way over average has any other 25 years old vintage, way, way over average !!! This is the 6 Cylinder version 3.0 larger engine (most of the 300TD have a 2.5liters 5 Cyl) !!!!!!! Frame's straight as an arrow, NOT A RUST BUCKET LIKE MOST OF THE NORTHEAST CARS !!!!! Being driven most of the time on the German autobhan, cruise super straight, no play in the steering, no pulling left or right, great sober and reliable cruiser. Oil changed every 3000 Miles Rotella 15W40 as well as filter. NO ACCIDENT, UNDERCARIAGE IS 99% RUST FREE. No rust on jack corners, very clean underneath door jams, floor is immaculate no rust, no damages.BRING YOUR MECHANIC FRIEND WITH YOU AND DRIVE IT HOME, THIS CAR WILL RUN TROUBLE FREE FOR MANY YEARS TO COME AT 40 MPG !!!!! FYI: I OWN AS WELL A 2012 HYBRID PRIUS, GUESS WHAT THE 300TD WAGON IS 100 TIMES MORE CONFORTABLE, FASTER, SMOOTER AND SAFER THAN MY CHEAP BUILT TOYOTA PRIUS ! Super reliable wagon it can be driven anywhere, start always right up at first crank by any weather condition, very good engine, great clutch, good brakes, absolutely no abnormal oil consumption, no blow by, no smoke. Engine runs like a Swiss watch !!!! the car can be driven under ANY WHEATHER CONDITION, this type of vehicle allows you to drive without battery (no ECM) and under the worst wheather condition ever !!! Ideal for preppers or penny pincher (LOL). Please note that the Hagerty Appraisal value for this vehicle is between $9600 and $17,000 range. The vehicle to be delivered FULLY SERVICED, oil changed, filters replaced, diesel filter main and secondary, check all belts and brakes for your trip back home, new battery. During the past few months we did replaced exhaust, radiator, and battery. Again it can be driven ANYWHERE!!!! Actually VT registered. If needed I can let you borrow my plates to drive her back home, as long as you bringing a valid insurance binder with you. As for payment I require a good faith $500 non refundable deposit via paypal right after the auction end, the remainder must be paid and clear up within 7 days by check or via bank wire transfer either way that's fine with me, or certified check or cash at pick up. If you are buying from CANADA, please be aware that US Customs require a 72 hours document clearence period for verification procedure to be exported, I can help you with that as well as the temporary plate to drive back to CA. The vehicle can stay here for 3 weeks at no charge, after the 3 weeks period a $10 per day storage fee is applicable. Please note that Im travelling this thanksgiving week, if you wish to come down here to pick up the vehicle, and drive it back home you need to plan accordingly, I be back in town on December 1st.
