Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is my 1967 fastback. I've been restoring the car for a while now but I am moving soon and unfortunately there is no room for a second car in my new place so my loss is your gain. This auction is NO RESERVE and the starting bid is way less than what I've invested in it, so whoever wins this car is getting a great deal. It is an original fastback and I have the Marti report for it. It has a custom front apron that gives it the Elenor look while still accepting the original bumper. The car is completely rust free and has been coated with anti-rust protection. Soundproofing material was also applied throughout the vehicle as shown in the picture. Most of the car is the original equipment including the engine. The transmission was switched from an automatic to a 4-speed manual from another mustang and has been rebuilt with a new clutch. The a/c is also new. The car comes with the original center console and a new upper console with map lights. The front seats were changed from a 69 mustang which have the neck rest that the 65-68 don't. Front and back seats were custom upholstered with faux suede inserts. There are still a few details the car still needs which I will go over: It has a very small chip in the front windshield which I took a picture of. It is not cracked so it is not spreading and can be fixed without replacing the windshield. The front apron has a crack on one side which happened from hitting a parking curve (I took a picture of this). The hood also has some small chips on the top end from closing the hood while there was a tool caught in the edge. The turn signals work but you have to hold them so they stay on. The front suspension also needs some work to make the ride more smooth. The center console is missing the switch plate which is available on ebay. The hand brake needs adjusting. The speedometer is currently disconnected, I will try to connect if I have time but can't make any promises on this. Overall, the car looks very good and I've gotten many offers in the past so I reserve the right to end the auction early if I get an offer prior to auction ending. I have a lot of the paper work for the work done and pictures detailing the restoration which I will include to the winning bidder. The car will NOT be sold with the chrome wheels or the black wheels shown in the pictures. It will come with the wheels shown in the picture dated 10/18/2011 and 10/20/11. If you want the black wheels then we can work out a deal. They are new including the tires with less than 2 miles on them. They come with paintable inserts that I was planning on painting the same color as the racing pinstripes of the car. They also include the spacers needed to have these wheels fit the car. I have the paper work for the wheels too. You can also see a video of the car here: youtube.com/watch?v=0Ek2NXU4uzU youtube.com/watch?v=jHtAqS2AE14 If you have any questions you can call me at 424-288-0952. I am on Pacific time so no early morning calls please. Note: please don't be calling just to ask where I got certain car parts. Serious bidders only. Sorry, but I'm not interested in trades. On Nov-20-12 at 19:11:47 PST, seller added the following information: Up for bid is my 1967 fastback.
