I have a very nice 1984 300 cd turbo diesel. This is a two owner, the first guy had it about 15 years and the second guy had it about 10 years. There isn't any rust any where on the car. It is a local car to this area so it was not close to the coast or the mountain salt. The paint looks very decent, it is about a 7 out of 10. The interior is nice as well. It has light sun fade and a couple cracks in the dash. Mechanically however it is exceptional. I have gone through the car and done a bunch of services. I will list them below. Services performed. Left and right upper ball joints Left and right lower ball joints Resurface front rotors Replaced battery Front end alignment Upgraded valve cover breather hose Bypass fuel line Themosat with coolant flush New fan belts (4) Repaired cruise control Replaced window switches Replaced outside mirror glass Repaired dash light dimmer switch Replaced transmission shift link bushings Replaed outside mirror switch Repaired air cleaner mounts Repaired passenger door lock And a few other minor things This car has above average power and the transmission shifts nice and smooth. Just about everything works like it should. The ac and heater work good, the sunroof and windows work good. I have not done anything with the radio because it is an older unit and most people like to pick out there own deck. The cruise control is working because I repaired it (most of the time they are not working by now). The brakes are up, and the tires are good and ready for the winter. This isn't a 15k cd like a few that I have seen on ebay lately. I have it price to sell and what I like is its not a car that you have to worry about parking in the local mall parking lot. I have a bunch of other older mercedes diesel if this is not for you. This is the only cd at the moment though. Karsten Mercedes Only
