Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ. The drive train is out of a newer Wrangler with a 4.0 liter fuel injected engine. The previous owner told me the engine had 80,000 on it. The Jeep was taken down to the frame and had a cosmetic restoration done. The frame was cleaned and coated with Epoxy primer and then undercoated and rustproofed. The leaves were replaced with Black Diamond 3.5 inch lift springs. All of the bushings were replaced (track bar, sway bar, spring hangers and transmission mounts etc.) with Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. It has new brake rotors, calipers, pads, rear brake shoes and rear wheel cylinders. The body mounts were all replaced with polyurethane and a three inch body lift was added. The tub was stripped inside and out and then professionally sprayed with truck bed liner. This is the real sprayed on liner that is smooth enough that you can actually wash and dry it. Its not the cheaper roll on type. The rails and cross members under the jeep have been undercoated and rustproofed inside. I added a picture of one of the rails underneath so you can see the condition. This Jeep is clean and rust free. The doors, hood, fenders and grille were also sprayed with the same coating as the tub. It has a really nice look and will last a long time. The only problems I know of with the Jeep is the starter is noisy. I think it will need replaced pretty soon also the mirror glass on the passengers side is missing, the windshield has a small crack in the lower corner, one of the center caps is missing from the rear wheel and the gas gauge always reads full. Its one of the cleanest Jeeps I have seen in this area. With that being said it is a 25 year old Jeep and doesn't drive down the road like a brand new Mercedes. I use it to run around the back roads and it is a blast to drive. It hasn't been off the road or in the mud. I've had a lot of fun with it but its time to sell it. It does not have a lot of aftermarket parts its basically a stock Jeep with the exception of the lift. I have a complete set of carpet that goes with it and also a spare tire mount and a spare wheel that the winning bidder can have. If you have any other questions let me know and I'll do my best to get you an answer. I have a clean and clear Ohio title in hand and ready to transfer at the time of payment.
