Vehicle Detail
Exceptionally Nice Car! The color combination is striking - a soft, not a stark white - light-tan leather. We purchased this car via eBay on 12-23-06, from Ken Batchelor Cadillac Co., San Antonio, TX , as a Dealer Certified Vehicle, odometer 45,596 miles. The car looks new inside and out - nonsmoker car - new-leather smell. Garaged all these years, it was used only about once a week locally, and for a number of long trips. Gas mileage for local driving is about 20 mpg. On long trips, some mountain roads included but going 65 mph on flats, we averaged 26-27 mpg over 1,500 mile and longer distances, less than one quart of oil per 1,000 miles. It has been a great car for us! 11-08-12, odometer “62,000”: car passed the very strict Oregon Emission Control Tests. 11-08-12, odometer 62,166: GM Certified Service, LDF+4Tire Rotation, 27 pt Inspection. Report, full Service Records and mint original Owners Manual will be supplied. We have moved to reduced living space and, regretfully, have to let the car go. Aside from exceptions listed, the car is in near mint condition throughout, with all power options fully functional and a perfect ride at all speeds. The car is capable of OnStar but has not been activated. At the end of the picture gallery we show the KB 2006 sales brochure, listing options and accessories. There are two established flaws we would like to alert you to: (1) A 12-inch shallow, narrow dent, left rear fender-skirt, courtesy of an unidentified fellow shopper, see photos. (2) There is a small oil leak from the Engine Block. Actual loss of oil is insignificant, witnessed on long trips. The results of several months collection in a saw-dust-filled oil-pan and absence of any leaking during the last three days (car being driven each day) are shown in the last two photos. In July, odometer 60,425, the engine stalled when driving at 60 mph, red 'battery light' came on. From a stop, the engine then started normally. This was the first and only time this has happened since we own the car. Intermittent Warning ‘Check Coolant Level’ might have been involved. GM Dealer: computer history-record ‘low voltage’ but no fault found battery to starter. Second Opinion, First Rate Shop: DTAC tests Battery, Starting, Cranking and Charging System. Scan PCM, DTC, EFI OBD 2, input and output control. Fuel pump pressure and volume test. All passed, reports available. We have since driven the car for another 1,700 miles, local traffic, freeway exceeding 65 mph or so - car drives and rides like new. Coolant Level Sensor has just been replaced, odometer 62,136. The car is sold 'as is', we present to have listed its condition fairly and accurately. By purchasing the vehicle Buyer accepts the details as described. Payment: Cash or Official Bank (Cashier's) Check. Title will be delivered upon verification of payment. Local pickup by Buyer, or we will drive the car to Buyer’s representative within the Medford OR area , with pickup and transport arranged by Buyer. Thank you for your interest, Happy Miles, All the Best! :
