Vehicle Detail

Up for bid is a 1991 Geo Metro 2Dr. Convertible - These cars with lower mileage and in good running condition are getting harder to find. Allot of them have been pieced together. This one has all original body parts and drivetrain. Has 91,205 miles on it. That's just a little over 4K a year. The mileage may change for any local test driving. The roof was replaced this summer and I put on a new set of Michelin All Season X-Radials at the begining of this year. There is @ 1,000 on them. These tires handle great and makes this car a real pleasure to drive. I stored the car over the winter and after 5+ months in storage it started on the first crank. These 3 Cylinder Suzuki engines get great gas mileage and are known to go over 200K with proper maintenance. Put in all new plugs and wires when I bought it. Oil changed every 3K. No engine leaks and runs great! Haven't had any mechanical problems. Should go another 100K+ miles with good upkeep. The exterior color is light "sky" blue with gray interior. The rear spoiler is aftermarket and gives it a nice "sporty" look. The previous owner installed the Blaupunkt RPD 545 CD/Stereo player. Has overhead light and passenger vanity mirror. A/C blows cold. Just had it recharged this summer. The body does have some rust along the rockers and rear quarter panels. For a car of this vintage that is expected. As mentioned these cars get great gas mileage at 35MPG+ depending on how you drive. These cars are tons of fun with the top down! I was going to store it this winter but decided I need room for other projects so will make a great car for the next owner. Sold as IS, no warranties expressed or implied. If you want to see in person just email me to make arangements. Also if you have any questions please email me with time to respond. If you have less than 10 feedback you need to contact me before bidding, otherwise your bid will be automaticly canceled. Deposit is due within 24 hrs. and full payment due in 7 days unless bought via "Buy it Now". Pick up is full responsibilty of buyer. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove listing if sold. Buyer must contact me right after auction ends to make arrangements to complete transaction, otherwise car will be relisted and negative feedback left. On Nov-10-12 at 02:29:50 PST, seller added the following information: Couple things I didn't mention. Had the fan belt replaced this summer and decided to also replace the water pump at the same time. Old one was fine, just thought it was good preventative measure. I am the fourth owner of this car. The previous owner had the title transferred from his lady to him so it was counted twice for same owner. The car does have it's share of dings, scuffs, nicks, etc. That's to be expected for a car of this vintage. On Nov-10-12 at 03:11:40 PST, seller added the following information: Had all new brakes pads and rotors put on @ 85K. The pads are top quality USA made semi-metallic. On Nov-15-12 at 04:22:21 PST, seller added the following information: Battery was replaced summer 2010. It is an Autocraft Silver w/525 CCA/665 Amps at 32 degrees. Deposit is non-refundable.
