1956 Dodge Job Rated 1/2 ton short box pickup. BIG BACK WINDOW cab. Straight 6 engine with 3 speed on the column. This truck runs and drives. It needs plenty of work to be reliable. I drove it today and easily got it up to 55mph. after about 3 or 4 miles it stalled on me and acts like its not getting gas. It is all stock and seems to be complete. Brakes need pumped before they stop. Engine sounds good, could use a tune up. Good oil pressure, stays cool. It is a 12 volt system and has a GM alternator on it and it works. The inside accessories do not work, like wipers, heater, blinkers, horn, etc. Needs electrical repairs evidently. Has a split pipe and dual tail pipes. sounds nice. Idels good. Clutch is fine, trans is fine. Wood in bed is rotted, but box and tailgate is in nice condition. Very straight body except drivers door opened too far and some dents in rear fenders. Hood works good. Front fenders have rust holes in them, running boards are rusty, but the cab corners, and rockers are in good shape. The door bottoms are nice also. The back glass is in very good condition and windshield has some chips and one small crack in corner. One Door glass is cracked. Floor boards are rusty but not all the way through. Dash is nice. Speedo and guages do work. Not sure about the gas guage. Thes truck has a clean Nebraska title. It is located in Gibbon Nebraska, 3 miles from I-80 at exit 285. Call if you want to come see it.
