It is really hard to describe how beautiful the paint and interior are; it is like a time capsule. This Cadillac Luxury Coupe is one nice driving vehicle and is sound in every respect. It is smooth and quiet with plenty of power at 70 MPH +. It is absolutely rust free and has been well cared for and always garaged by current and previous owners. Originally from Texas, the car had less than 10,000 miles on it when I purchased it. I have owned the car since 2004 and it has been driven sparingly only during our dry summer weather to cruise ins and car shows (adding only 2590 miles). It comes with its original owners manual and some service history. This Coupe de Ville has its original factory 500 CID V8 and it performs flawlessly. The engine is backed by a smooth Turbo Hydra - Matic three speed automatic transmission. The ALL ORIGINAL Grey Leather interior is in BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL condition; there are no tears, cracks, or scuffs. The 6 way power front seat and rear seat with their fold down center arm rest are so smooth and clean they appear to have never been used. Beautiful ORIGINAL dash with very nice - correct wood accents, very nice ORIGINAL gauge cluster, very nice - PERFECT - ORIGINAL dash pad has no cracks anywhere. The ORIGINAL matching grey carpeting is in excellent condition, protected by very nice ORIGINAL Cadillac Floormats. The sun visors, headliner, door panels, steering wheel, interior chrome and stainless, including the original Cadillac trunk mat are in pristine condition. In my opinion you won’t find a nicer 1976 Coupe. The digital clock is the only piece of equipment that is not working. I have been hesitant to fiddle with having this repaired since the dash is absolutely flawless and I do not want any risk of damage removing and reinstalling it. This Cadillac Coupe de Ville is nicely equipped including Cold WORKING AIR CONDITIONING – with climate control system, power steering, factory power disc brakes, Six way power seat, power antenna, power windows, power door locks, twilight headlight sentinal, Guide- Matic headlight sentinal, cruise control, trip odometer, and factory cornering lights, original front and rear factory 3-Point seat belts, delayed wipers, power antenna, original day - night rear view mirror, original working Cadillac AM FM stereo radio with hidden Custom Autosound AM/FM CD changer with RF remote (can be operated without opening the glove box) control installed in glove box. Six disc CD unit mounted in trunk. Climate control A/C heater and defroster, all in perfect working order, original chrome remote exterior driver and passenger side mirror's, Tilt and telescoping steering wheel, very nice original trunk carpeting, trunk factory cardboard side trim and original Cadillac trunk mat with ORIGINAL full sized spare tire and original jack and lug wrench and wooden wheel chock. This beautiful luxury car is an outstanding great running and wonderful looking classic Cadillac that gets lots of attention everywhere it goes. Its power and performance are very impressive! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of whom would be pleased to own this one. This vehicle is in great condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a clean example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. If you have been looking but can not find a nice example, this Coupe de Ville with it’s uncommon original Academy Grey metallic finish, silver Elkgrain padded landau top and pristine dove grey leather interior, look no further! The overall cosmetic impression of this car is stunning. The stainless and chrome are excellent. It is currently running its correct Cadillac wire spoke hubcaps but the beautiful glossy black ‘original equipment base hubcaps’ (set of 4) are included in this auction. All are in nice shape. The original tires were replaced in 2004 with 4 new period correct wide whitewall tires and they have been driven a total of 2590 miles since that time. In my opinion you are not going to find much nicer original example than this beautiful Coupe de Ville. We are downsizing and I will no longer have garage space for my ’76 Caddy and my ‘61 Corvair Rampside pickup truck. My loss is your gain!
