1984 AMC Jeep Cj7 black on black with Laredo package. I am the second owner of this jeep, purchased from original owner in 1990. The jeep has been a dependable daily driver. It has been well maintained thoughout the years and has spent its life garaged and on the street as opposed to 4 wheeling. I'll do my best to describe condition on all areas. Please feel free to ask questions. The engine is a 258 inline 6. It has been rebuilt and has 50,000 miles on the rebuild. It has been upgraded with a new aluminum valve cover and new carb. New body, engine and transmission mounts. Transmission is a t5 , transfer case a Dana 300 both have been rebuilt with 60,000 miles on both. Clutch was also replaced at the same time with new bell crank and rod linkage. 20 gallon fuel tank with new sending unit, newer exhaust from engine back(2 years old) Air conditioning: system redone last year with new pump, expansion valve,reciever dryer, Chrome vents+knobs. Blows super cold! Brakes have been completely redone with new booster/master , stainless steel lines, new proportioning valve, rotors/drums replaced. Axles AMC 20 rear, Dana 30 on front. Fluid changed on regular basis, all universals fresh. new ball joints on front. Frame straight and rust free. Suspension rebuilt with new bushings and pads. Steering, shackle reversal kit installed, helped with driveability. Powersteering gearbox, pump and hoses replaced. Steering colum with new turn signal switch, ignition switch and lower bearings. newer tie rods. Body: mostly original paint and decals from 1984. The hood has been redone. The body is straight and has only a couple areas of rust That I noted in pics( Passenger side fender and drivers side floor by the front of the door pillar) Spare tire rack rebuilt and painted. steps sandblasted and repainted. All trim original except for new stainless steel mirrors and a fresh Chrysler stock chrome grill from the dealer. Interior: jeep was never smoked in. Original Laredo interior. Seats are in nice shape, the drivers side seat has had the lower skin replaced and the passenger side has a small tear in the side panel next to the silver stripe.Rear seat great. Clock and tach work. lights and gauges work. JVC cd player with Iphone jack. AC blows cold. Dome and courtesy light work. hardtop is in nice shape with original tinted glass and is rust free on the liftgate. intermit wipers. Original wheels with Goodyear 235 wranglers with around 20,000 miles wear. Buyer responsible for pickup and or delivery. Sold in as is condition.
