Exterior- This corvette has been reprinted in the past and the paint is VERY good. Not flawless, but a very good paint job that could be mistaken for new or factory paint. The convertible top works perfectly and is in like new condition. The wheels are from a 1991 corvette and are in average condition with a little fading here and there. The rear tires are 80% tread Goodyears and the rear are 25% Coopers. When this car is detailed it looks awesome! Something very important to note is that I assume when it was painted it was updated with 90's style bumpers (notice square tail lights and front parking and fog light location) and also doors and hood. It's car looks like a 92-96 from the outside. Interior- The interior looks factory to me with some cracking and tears in the drivers seat and normal wear on the passenger seat (see pictures). Everything works to my knowledge as far as the power seats and interior controls except the cruise control. The dash is in good shape with no cracks and the carpet is in good condition for original equipment. S e of the weatherstripping is starting to crack and show signs of age around the doors. Mechanical- This corvette has the factory L98 engine and transmission and both operate excellently. The motor will puff a small bit of smoke when hot started just like all the TPI motors I have had that the valve seals have some age on. It has had many new parts and been tuned up with plugs and wires and is quite fast for something from the 80's. I replaced the compressor with a brand new GM unit so the air is ice cold and the compressor has a lifetime warranty. The reason I am selling this car is because I want to buy another can and my wife tells me the only way that happens is if I sell two of my current cars.
