A very clean example of a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 300SD with only 159,693 actual California driven miles. This 2 owner Mercedes has never been involved in any accidents and still retains 95% its original factory paint. It has also never been smoked in. A perfectly clean Carfax report is available upon request. This 300SD runs and drives like a dream. It starts quickly, idles remarkably smooth, accelerates quickly and shifts flawlessly through all gears. It drives down the road super smooth and comfortable with no noises or vibrations. It barely feels or even sounds like a diesel while stopped at a traffic signal. It was just inspected and serviced which included a Shell Rotella oil change, transmission tune-up, A/C service and a brand new blower motor. Not a drop of oil or any fluids are leaking as well. All power features work properly including all windows and central locking system, sunroof, seats, mirrors and antenna. The stereo and speakers have been updated and the original Becker is included. The instrument cluster works perfectly including speedometer/odometer but the RPM gauge and clock does not. The fuel, temp and oil pressure work perfectly. The original white paint still has a nice deep shine with a nice touch of patina. There are signs of cracking on the roof and fenders which I personally would never paint. There are some normal dings and chips as well but nothing major. The rear bumper was repainted due to heavy sun fading. There is hazing/discoloration in both rear window corners. The interior is in very nice condition. The seats are nice and firm with no sagging and parts have been recovered where needed with GAHH Mercedes vinyl. There are a couple of cracks in the dash and the Zebrano wood center console has its inevitable cracks in the clear. The rear seat has a 1" tear in the perforated leather just left of the arm rest which can be seen in the photo. If you are looking for a Great driving and Very reliable 300SD then look no further. This Diesel will keep a smile on your face especially as you pass the gas pumps. Included with the sale are the original owners manuals, original Becker tape deck, tools and original and untouched first aid kit and original spare wheel/tire.
