Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1984 Mercedes 300Td wagon. The wagon is Blue in color, with dark blue interior. It has one repaint, with most items taken off the car for repainting. Car has no rust issues, like most 123 chassis cars. Looks really nice. The car has 171,000 miles, which is extremely low for a Mercedes diesel. I have sold about 4 of these wagons over the past 6 or 7 years. I always have the wagons completely gone over by a certified Mercedes mechanic. If something is not right, it gets fixed. Check my feedback, I don't hide or cover things up. Here are some of the things that have been done. 1. Complete repaint, in original color. 2. 2 New Michelin Harmony Tires. Theother 2 where 85% 3. Hood Release Strap 4. Hood Pad 5.Bumper retainer 6. Oiler Filter kit 7. Valve Cover gasket 8. Air Filter 9. Automatic Transmission filter kit. 10. Transmission Service and Flush 11. All new Fuel filters 12. Dome Lamp assembly 13. Brake Fluid 14. Door check right front 15. All new wiper blades 16. New antenna mast 17. New vertical grill molding. 18. New a/c control wood piece Zembrano 19. Central locking system completely gone over and vacuums replaced. 20. New vacuums behind a/c, so air blows thru all vents. Common problem on Mercedes 123 chassis cars 21. Differrential fluid has also been changed. 21. Lastly the wagon has received a Major Service, which includes a Valve Adjustment. As you can see the wagon has been gone over completely. It runs and drives as it should. Doesn't blow smoke. Shifts the way it should. Interior is really nice. Glass is nice all around. All power options work as they should. Even the cruise control works, which is a common problem. Alpine radio sounds nice. All speakers work as they should. Sunvisor lights work and doors on them sre intact, rare. All gauges work as they should. Wheels have been redone also. Sunroof is manual, like all wagons, and works as it should. Comes with owners manual. Has original Tool Kit, First Aid Kit, rare Emergency Triangle. A/C blows cold like it should. Car has great pickup, because it has the Turbo. I beleive Mercedes added the turbo in 1981. I would not own one that wasn't a Turbo. They have really slow pickup. These diesels get around 28-32 miles per gallon, depending on your driving habits. I would not hesitate to drive across country with this car. I would not sell anything that I wouldn't buy myself. When spending big $$$ on Ebay, feedback is critical. Please check mine, and see what kind of integrity as a seller that I have. My feedback is very important to me, and it should be important to you. Thanks for iewing my auction, and good luck in your quest to find a nice Mercedes Wagon. Inspections are more than welcome, but please, before, not after the auction. If you would like to talk to me by phone, I love talking about cars, and would like to talk to you. Don't forget to check the REVISIONS often, because I always forget something!! Thanks Randy
