1979 Pontiac Firebird Up for sale is a 1979 Pontiac Firebird. It has a 4.9L 301 and a Super t-10 4-speed. Both the engine and transmission are original. I have posted a picture of the original build sheet.It runs and drives/shifts great. I drive it to work daily. I've replaced the gas tank, water pump, fuel pump, alternator, vacuum advance. The carb was rebuilt a few months back. It's got the original Rochester Quadrajet. I've changed the oil every 3000 miles and I've changed the tranny and rear-end grease about a month ago. The body is in pretty good shape. I installed two new front grill pieces about 3 month ago. There is one spot at the bottom of the passenger side fender. I've also uploaded a pic of that. A few small spots here and there where to paint has chipped. It needs a drivers side door panel. New carpet and new seat covers. The back seats are in great shape. Two very small tears. The fronts need to be upholstered. The dash is in great shape. No cracking or fading. The speedo shows around 47000 but I'm thinking it's probably 147000. Shifter is real tight. Has aftermarket aluminum wheels. 60's on the back and 70's on the front. This is a great car and I wish I didn't have to part with it but I'm having another kid and I need more room.
