Vehicle Detail

WHAT WE HAVE FOR SALE HERE IS A FACTORY ORIGINAL 1967 DUSK ROSE (PINK) MUSTANG WITH FULL DOCUMENTATION AND STILL WEARING IT’S FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT…MAKING IT ONE RARE AND VERY LOW PRODUCTION PONY INDEED. IT WAS SOLD NEW AT HENSLEY-ANDERSON FORD IN CALIFORNIA AND INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL SALES CONTRACT AND WINDOW STICKER COPY. ONE OWNER AND AS ORIGINAL AS THEY COME…A REAL SURVIVOR. IN MY VIEW, THERE IS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF PETINA FROM AGE AND USE BUT STILL VERY PRESENTABLE AND RESTORATION WOULD DESTROY THE ORIGINALLITY THAT MAKES THIS MUSTANG TRULY SPECIAL. EVERYTHING IS WORKING INCLUDING ALL LIGHTS (EVEN THE BLINKERS IN THE HOOD), GAUGES, RADIO, WINDOWS, ETC. IT COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL FULL DELUXE WHEEL COVERS AND THE OPIONAL ORIGINAL WIRE WHEEL COVERS, ALONG WITH A FACTORY INSTALLED CENTER CONSOLE. UNDER THE HOOD EVERTHING IS ORIGINAL AND IN PLACE INCLUDING THE PROPER AIR CLEANER, WORKING SMOG PUMP WITH RELATED PARTS, AND ALL CORRECT BOLTS, BRACKETS, ETC. TRUNK IS ALL THERE WITH SPARE, JACK, AND FACTORY MAT, ALL IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. BODY IS EXCELLENT, HAS HAD SOME MINOR SPOT WORK OVER THE YEARS, BUT CERTAINLY NEVER ANY MAJOR COLLISION DAMAGE OR RUST REPAIR…EVER. RUST IS NON-EXHISTANT, NOT A PIN HOLE, SCALE, NOTHING…PERIOD. THE 289 V-8 ENGINE RUNS WELL, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SHIFTS PROPERLY, AND THE POWER STEERING AND BRAKES WORK AS THEY SHOULD. EXHAUST AND TIRES ARE GOOD. ALL BRIGHTWORK IS IN VERY GOOD ORIGINAL CONDITION AND SHOWS LITTLE TO NO PITTING. THIS MUSTANG REALLY IS ABOUT AS ORIGINAL AND RARE AS THEY COME SO I ASK FOR SERIOUS BIDDERS/BUYERS ONLY. PLEASE DON’T EXPECT A PERFECT CAR, IT IS UNRESTORED AND 45 YEARS OLD, THAT BEING CONSIDERED HOWEREVER, IT CERTAINLY IS IN GREAT ORIGINAL CONDITION. IF YOU HAVE LESS THE 5 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS OR ANY NON-PAYER VIOLATIONS, PLEASE MOVE ON. THANK-YOU. THEY REALLY ARE “PRETTY IN PINK”……. Footnote…. I don't mean to be brash about selling a car, but this car is not an example that you will come across very often. I know what I have searched out and found over the years. I like un-restored cars....with original factory paint. With original paint, you know the body underneath that you are buying. While I appreciate nicely restored cars, I do not own restored vehicles. Some of the so-called best restored cars have been hit, thrown together, etc.……too many issues...the body being hit, rust, major components being lifted from another car, reproduction parts, and poor workmanship being some of the important ones. It is worth searching and finding the GOOD original UNRESTORED cars.....and if it costs more money once you have found what you are looking for...and it should...it's worth every penny....at least to me. Nothing better than to look at that car in your garage knowing that the car you own is one that the factory built and not one built by a local shop doing their best imitation of the original. Not my cup of tea. Nobody does it like the factory, and that is truly reflected in today’s values and desirability of UNRESTORED classic cars….thanks again….
