Vehicle Detail
So I have a nice old school military Jeep. The title says 1952 Willy's but it does not have those classic fenders so not sure its accurate. The tag on it said 52 Willy's so the fella was confident it was. I have been told it is a M138 A Kaiser and even heard early 70's CJ5. I will be honest I do not know what it is but it does have the Military plate on the dash and did have military green paint underneath and on firewall as I did clean and repaint he areas. The Vehicle is in great shape and runs like a top. I did modify the wheels and tires by putting new studs and wheel spacers with new tires and Crager soft 8's. Gives it a new age look, I think it is cool but some old schoolers may not. I am a Jeeper and feel pretty knowledgeable about Jeeps but am sure I will learn a few things through this listing. I do know that the jeep is solid, it has been painted Red and a decent job was done. The floor pans looked to have been replaced and seem to be pretty solid as is the entire Jeep. It is not a rust bucket or a project but we all know you can turn any Jeep into one if you so choose. Yes you can jump right in it and drive it today, daily driver, yes, would I, No but I have had my fun with Jeeps and only use them for a short periods at a time. The battery is a Optima, the Carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt, and it fires right up. No issues. It does have a soft top and doors that came with it but I have never put them on, more importantly all the hardware is in place for a top to go on it. It is a very solid running and the integrity is all their, sure you can come and pick it for this and that, its old but it is not a POS or a bucket of rust. It has absolutely no leaks, not a drop on the floor. I personally drive the Jeep and it runs strong. I will be willing to take to any shop in my town of your choice including the dealership who we all know will try to make money anyway they can.... I will answer any questions to the best of my knowledge Yo can call me direct 910-550-9691 or go to my site at tidelineimports dot com for many more pics.
