1978 Ford Futura V-8 3.3 Litre One Owner!! 32,970 Actual Miles!! The original owner was a first grade school teacher, who bought this Futura brand new in Kansas. This car is 100% rust free and all original. This Ford was never altered and always parked in the garage in the winter and she only dove it in the spring and the summer. When we found the car, there were quilts covering the whole car, sheets over the seats and the carpet and also a sheet in the trunk over the carpet and when I pulled the quilts and the sheets off I was just amazed at what kind of shape this car was in. The seats, the dash, the carpet, the paint and the bumpers are like brand new. The glass is perfect!! The stainless steel is perfect and also the vinyl top and the rear deck. After thirty years in storage all I had to do was put a new battery in it and gas in the carburetor to back it out of the garage. This Ford runs like a brand new automobile. It is very quiet and tight. She quit driving the car in her late 70’s. By looking at the pictures you will see that the seats and the body, is in amazing condition. The car is red with a white vinyl top. Loaded with air! Since I purchased it I have had the following parts replaced due to the vehicle being in a garage for 30 years: Gas Tank Fuel Pump Tail Pipe and muffler Battery Heater Core Brakes Tires Alternator Belts and Hoses Plugs and Wires This car can be driven anywhere and guaranteed to be a first place winner at any car show to be all original. The paint is bright and shiny and this Futura is a true classic Ford. You will never find another one in this kind of shape probably in the United States. The only reason I am selling this Ford is that I spend most of my time in Florida.
