Vehicle Detail

1968 Ford Mustang Resto-Mod Convertible Originally a coupe, now a “roadster”.1971 302 30-over refreshed, 1966 C4 auto, 1965 C4 shifter.Mustang II manual rack and pinion steering with 2” drop spindles.7” chrome GM brake boost with disc/ drum brakes.Equus mechanical gauges.Engine bay boxed in with battery relocated to trunk. New parts: Gas tank, Fuel lines, Brake lines, Hood, Front fenders, Valences, Tail light bezels, u-joints, Upper control arms, Lower control arms, Ball joints, Tie rods, shocks, 2”drop spindles, Disc front brakes, Master cylinder, Brake boost, Rack and pinion, 18” Lenso wheels with 245/40r18 Federal directional tires, Seats, Carpet, QA1 adjustable coil-over rear suspension 275lb, Rear drum assemblies, Aluminum radiator, Hoses, polished aluminum high rise Intake, rebuilt 600 holley Carb, Engine Dress up kit, Long tube tri-yheaders, Complete true dual exhaust, Subframe connectors, Dual electric fans, Electric water pump, Motor and tranny mounts, Chrome Oil pan, Double deep chrome trans pan, Flex plate, Old school Thrush glass pack mufflers, and probably a couple other things I have forgotten about. this has been an 18month project. Needs: tranny work. not sure why but it will not go into gear. It rolls freely when in neutral and stays put when in park. I havent had time to get it to the mechanic to fix. Signal lights, brake lights, reverse lights have not been installed. Also needs a deck lid. its cost less to replace than to repair. i jsut havent gotten to that yet. I am relocating for work and have to sell this now- so the reserve is set below what i have put into this. Buyer must be aware that THIS IS A PROJECT CAR- It is not perfect, it is not 100%, but it is solid and unique. It cranks on the first key turn and sounds awesome. In my opininon there is no better sound than a small block Ford V8 push-rod motor through a set of glass packs. It gets tons of attention when im working on it or i have had to trailer it somewhere. This car is sold AS-IS with no warranty or guarantee implied. I reserve the right to end auction early. Please feel free to contact me and i'll answer any questions I can. I will accept PayPal for deposit and possibly full amount of purchase but I'd prefer cash sale. Cashier's check is possible too, but transaction and title will be transferred only after check has cleared.
