Vehicle Detail
This is my 1981 Suzuki GS750 E, with 10,201 original miles. It is being relisted due to people not reading that this is for CUSTOMER PICK-UP only. You can arrange for your own shipping (It usually cost from $400 to $800) and I could help get it loaded, but that's your call. I could deliver it up to 75 miles away @ $1.25 per mile, but contact me before the auction ends to make tentative arrangements. I bought the bike years ago, new in 1982, in Colrado Springs, Colorado. For what it's worth, it has been atop Pikes Peak, and thru old time Ghost towns in the Rockies, behind Colorado Springs. I rode it a few times to Utah and Arizona, thru the Rocky mountains. It was last titled in Arizona, and I have a duplicate title for it. It was last ridden in 1985. The gas was drained, and the bike has been garaged ever since. The motor still turns over easily. I thought about getting it running again, but I've decided to sell it instead. It should run again with a new battery, and the carbs I'm sure will need to be cleaned, or possibly rebuilt. There is some surface rust on some of the chrome and cast metal. The bike is in overall very good condition. The cast aluminum wheels are in good shape, but the tires should be replaced, since they are at least 25 years old. Since the bike is 31 years old, there is some rubber deterioration, and also some gaskets will probably need to be replaced, along with a couple of original style screws. The front brake hydraulic fluid has been lost. Since this is a 30 year old bike, it has received a few scuffs (tank) in a few places and the right hand mirror arm has been bent. The right hand mirror itself isn't in the greatest shape either. Perhaps some duplicate paint might touch up some of the scuffing. There is also some minor scuffing on the blue plastic around the headlight. I had two new keys made for the ignition and gas tank. The keys don't work in the seat or helmet locks. However a locksmith will be able to make one from the seat lock, and it will fit in all the locks on the bike. "Please e-mail me with any questions" A $300 deposit thru Paypal is due within 2 days, balance due on pickup within 14 days, or you can pay me in cash or a cashiers check within 5 days of end of the auction on pick-up of the bike . You can e-mail me if you might like to make any other arrangements, before the auction ends. The 2 pictures at the end show some of the imperfections. I appreciate the interest and feel free to ask any questions.
