Up for your consideration today is a very special car. Its a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere II, 2 Door hard top survivor car. Its an original 361 Factory four speed car. It now has a correct RB 64-66 426 Wedge Max Performance engine in her. Casting numbers of 2532230. Look it up. The original 361 Engine will go with the car. I will not seperate.Please Dont ask. The 4 speed numbers indicate its an early 833 4 speed. So I'm assuming its the original transmission. It has a sure grip in her. Not sure on the gears but I suspect 3:23's. The car runs and drives beautifully. Theres nothing like an original cars handling. The body is very nice and straight. It is original and I see no indications of any paint work anywhere. The car does have scratches and nicks and dings. The paint is 47 years old and is in very acceptable condition. I tried to take close up pictures of all imperfections so look closely. Mostly there are door chips on doors and the hood and deck lid have stain spots and chips. Dont let this deter you, I may be a little more critical than I should, but I'm a straight shooter. I want you to know what your getting. My EBAY feedback is perfect. And I plan on keeping it that way. The interior is in mint condition. The carpet has been replaced and the seats have been redone in the correct 2 toned fabric and vinyl covers. The door panels, headliner, dash is all in way above average condition. The rear package deck is good. The glass is original and good. The chrome is very nice as well as all the stainless. Its all original and well preserved. The trunk has its original mat, jack, stand etc. The spare tire appears original and has been used. As far as paperwork I have 4 build sheets! Also the original purchase order as well as some receipts. When the car was a month old the original owner had the dealer ship install 4 wheel open moldings! The fender tag is original and proves this car to be a real 361 4 spped. With back up lights and heater / defrost.I have the clear title to this car. To sum it up I got an original 361 Factory 4 speed care here. That alone should be worth the buy it now price. The Street wedge runs out great. Its fast and full of torque. The engine appears to have been rebuilt at the time of install about 6 years ago. She used no oil and feels real strong. The four speed goes thru each gear beautifully and the clutch operates as it should. If I were to pick this drive train apart I would work on the carburator. Its an Eldebrock. I've had these carbs before and they all were very reliable. This one needs tweaked a bit. A friend of mine is a great carb guy. If he and I can get together I'll have him adjust this one. But I cant promise that. You should be very pleased with this car as I was when I bought it. This car is not a restored car. It not shiny and waxed all the time. Its 47 years old. Expect an excellent survivor type car. Al lthe hard work one would do to make a fast car even faster has been done. You can leave it like it is or put the original 361 in it and have an all matching car. This car is sold as is ans has no warranty. Have someone you know and trust come see if if you cannot.
