Up for NO RESERVE" auction: 66 Chevy Shortbed Pick up with a 468 Big Block and a Built Turbo 350 Transmission. This truck has been converted to have power steering, power brakes, and front disc brakes (drum in rear). The engine and trans have about 1000 miles on them since rebuild. The engine is a 454 bored .060 over with 10;1 pistons. The cam is pretty lumpy and the engine and trans run perfect. We have about 80% of the parts to finish this truck, however we do not have any interior parts (door panels, seats, carpeting). This would make a great winter project. This is a very solid truck, needing only minimal body work to finish the exterior. There is about 20k invested in this truck to get it to the point it is at. Most of the grunt work is done and it just needs to be finished. I'm selling it because I have too many projects and do not have the time to devote to finishing this truck. The wheels and tires are brand new staggard 20" Ridler wheels with brand new Nitto Extreme tires. There are Spacers on the wheels converting them from six lug to five lug to accomodate the five spoke look. They fit perfect with no rubbing. Most of the suspension is brand new (tie rods, ball joints, etc.) We have a folder full of reciepts from most of the parts. The rims and tires alone were $2000.00. There is estimated to be around $8k in the engine alone. We do have all the glass for doors and wing windows, however they are not installed. We have the rear panel for the bed that goes by the cab and it is brand new. There is a room full of parts, including new tail lights, door handles, seals, and many spare misc. parts that go with the truck.
