FOR SALE! 1973 BMW 2002, 5-speed @ NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This great little car was supposed to be a project car for my son & I. He moved out of state & I am not interested in doing it myself. My loss can be your gain @ a very affordable price. This is the last year with roundie tail lights, & the last year before they started using those hideous bumpers. This car was a California car for most of it's life, & it shows. It has original paint & is straight as an arrow(no accidents here). The previous owner installed a 5 speed manual trans from an E21, & it shifts beautifully. It starts, drives & runs great with it's electronic ignition. The suspension is good with no rust in the shock towers. The paint is thinning & it does have some rust @ the front & rear of the drivers door, @ the bottom of the passengers door & on the hood. There are some minor dings that can be taken care of when it gets repainted. Everything works except the windshield wipers(needs relay or switch). The front windshield & seal need replacing, & those parts are in the trunk. The brake light flickers, but the brakes are fine so it must be a short or the sensor).The odometer does not work, but the speedometer & RPM gauge do.The interior is very nice. There are no rips or tears & the headliner is excellent. The carpet is almost new & the dash has no cracks! It also has a nice JVC radio. The engine compartment & trunk are very clean, with very little surface rust. All in all, a very nice 02' with a ton of potential. Any questions?? Please ask!! I have tried to describe this car the best that I can. I HAVE HAD TWO LAME WINNERS IN A ROW THAT COULD NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE PURCHASE! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
