Vehicle Detail
How many people can say they own or have owned a Lamborghini- well here’s your chance at one- NO RESERVE… The 1974 P300 Lamborghini Urraco is one of the rarest of the bunch. It has the highest horsepower of the three models available and had an advertised top speed of 162mph from a 5 speed V8 powered drivetrain. This project car has sat for many years and requires a complete restoration. It needs body, drivetrain, and interior restoration- bumper to bumper- please see the pictures. I have been restoring a vintage Ferrari and don’t think I’m going to get to this car and know very little about Lamborghini’s so I’m offering it up for sale. I do know that the windshield is broken. I have seen them on the internet for as little as $200 and new ones for as much as $1,950. I don’t have any mechanical history so you’re buying this as a non-running project car. It’s missing a few parts here and there and I just don’t have the time to play with it to get it going. I’m not familiar enough with the car to even know what’s missing so you’re welcome to inspect the car in person. The best part about these cars is that there are parts interchange lists on the internet that can help you buy parts cheap at your local parts store to avoid more expensive original parts. Take the time to hook up the exhaust and invest in a few parts and labor and you could have a real decent car. Car has some extra parts including the four lights in the box in the trunk, some misc. trim parts, bumpers and the grill. This car is work 10-15k in parts alone. The auction forced me to select a "clear" title, but I am selling the car as is where is with only an Official State of CT bill of sale form CT H-31 - there is no title. CT doesn't have titles for cars this old so that’s all the paperwork you will be getting so verify it's ok with your local registry before you bid. Deposit of $150 due within 48 hours of auction close with full payment due within 7 days of auction close. The car will be released with the paperwork when the payment is cleared. Sell to continental US only. Pick up must be done within 2 weeks of auction close. Please ask me any questions before bidding. Updated 10/16/12 The car was bought at auction, so to be up front I have no knowledge of its history. I recently spent thousands in used parts and paid someone to start in on the project, but have been distracted with another car.
