Vehicle Detail
This is a 72 911 T with a 71 drive train, it was originally a 2.2L. It has been overhauled to 2.7L with 10:1 compression pistons, an S cam, and Carrera Cam tension er. It has an oil squirt-er modification, and a turbo oil pump. HPV1 ignition system, with weber IDA 40's. polyurethane bushings all around. This work was all done around the mid to late 90's. It is not running well currently, the motor seems to be very strong, but the carbs are acting up, and need to be adjusted. I had the HPV1 tested a few years ago (it was working well), and I had the carbs rebuilt in 09, which really fixed the problem until I moved to the higher elevation, then it started back-firing, and finally died. I let it sit for the last few years until this spring, when I got it running again. It's still spitting and sputtering, but with a little help could be a strong runner. The car was also poorly painted at this time, it really needs paint. It currently has three layers, all of them need to come off. This car has been inside since the early 90's, except from 07- 09 when it enjoyed some time in Seattle. Other than that it's been an eastern Oregon car, high and dry and Rust Free. Other than the condition of the paint it's a clean car, no dents, or major body repairs, one small ding on the engine cover. The chrome is starting to dull, and some of the turn signals are cracked. The glass is good. Also It has Steel Wide body fenders in the back, and I do have the spare tire. The Interior is old, the seats are newer(I believe they are out of a BMW). The driver side seat has just developed a 3/4" tear. The original dash appears to be pretty rough, and has been recovered. The leather on the passenger side door has shrunk, and is coming off. The heater fan does not work, the stereo is aftermarket, and the steering wheel is also aftermarket. Any questions please ask. I will be accepting paypal, and would like a $500 deposit within 24hrs, and full payment within a week. The buyer is responsible for pickup. I am glad to help if possible.
