DeSoto Airflows 2 (34 & 35) DeSoto Airflows for sale. Both cars are being sold together. These cars are part of the estate of a friend of mine who died suddenly in 2008. I am selling them for them for his widow. Both cars are being sold together with Bill of Sale, but both cars have titles from the states they were last registered in. (1934=Michigan, 1935=Colorado). 1934, Has some good sheet metal but is a parts car. Complete running engine and transmission. ( I have not started the engine but when it was purchased it was driven onto the trailer) The car was bought to install the engine in the 35. 1935. Restorable, sheet metal is in amazingly great shape with minimal rust. This car was restored many years ago, but car has been in dry storage for years and all of the rubber is dry rot. . The interior is complete and intact. All of the glass intact, but has some bubbles in the laminate. All of the chrome and stainless is on the car and restorable. The engine is seized due to blown head gasket. The head was pulled and the cylinders were left open which caused the pistons to seize in the cylinders. The head has been repaired and there is a new gasket If the engine can be freed up it can probably be repaired. The former owner had planned to use the engine from the 34.Please feel free to email or call with any questions.
