Finished in classic creme yellow over saddle tan interior, this beautiful original W124 chassis sedan was recently acquired from the original owner who purchased this car at Autohaus Brugger in Redwood City 27 years ago for a cost of $46,500! It is now California titled in my name with current registration with recent and valid smog. As you can see in the one photo. I still have the original window sticker and all associated books and manuals from the dealer. This gem has been driven about 4,000 miles per year for a total of 111,110 actual miles. It features the 3.8 liter V8 engine mated to the 4 speed automatic transmission. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock. NOTE: this is a late 1985 production car with driver side airbag and rear stoplight. It has the leather seating with electric functions, electric sunroof and windows, cruise control, alloy wheels with Michelin tires, original working Becker stereo and electric antenna. There are a couple of minor blemishes here and there including one or two small scuffs, rock nicks and discoloration. There is some fading on the paint finish on the original alloy wheels. The Michelin tires are in very good to excellent condition. I would rate the body a solid 8.5 on a sclae of 1-10. This is a very well kept low-mileage example! THE INTERIOR The interior of this 27 year old Benz is in AMAZING ORIGINAL CONDITION overall. There is some slight wear and discoloration on the driver seat leather. The carpets, door panels and headliner are all excellent on this non-smoker car. The factory stereo works well as do all other controls and functions inside the car. As you can see in the one photo, even the trunk is super clean with the original untouched spare tire! THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Mercedes Benz 380SE STARTS, RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL with good smooth power, excellent up and downshifting of the transmission, very good braking with excellent pedal feel.
