1972 Chevy Camaro Rally Sport (Z/28 trim added) Black w/ White Stripes 350 4 SpeedStock 350Stock Muncie M-20 4 Speed and Center Console with Hurst Shifter3:42 Posi-Traction Rear EndGM 4 Wheel Disc BrakesGM Front and Rear Sway BarsStock Factory TachometerAir Conditioning (Needs Charge)Tilt Steering Wheel (N33 Option)Factory 15X7 inch 5 Spoke Mag Wheels w/ BFG Radial TA’sPower WindowsPower Door Locks 1972 Rally Sport Camaro The Z/28 Badges were added, not an original Z/28 but an Original Rally Sport it is. This Car is very fun to drive, very comfortable and feels great on the road no funny shakes or wobbles). The 350 and Muncie 4sp are bone stock w/ the addition of an Edelbrock Performer Aluminum manifold and Carburetor. The Rear End is a 1979 Trans-Am take out unit with 3:42 Posi and the Factory Rear Disc Brake package… the emergency brake set up works too. The Tuxedo Black (not original color) is in pretty good shape overall. (It shines so well that you can see the blue sky reflections in the pictures that @ times make the car look blue’ish in some of the pics) This Camaro RS Shines and Shows very well and is fantastic Driver Quality, not $12,000 Barrett Jackson Paint job, but looks very good. The Interior is Stock, Carpet great, dash great, Seats great, Headliner great and shows very nice. Surprisingly, everything but the AC works as it should, Dome light, lower kick interior lights, Head lights, tail lights, all 4 side markers lights, Blinkers and Flashers. Cig lighter element not working but socket is. For a 40 + year old Car... this very is cool. It has a few minor scuffs and 1 notable dime size ding and a small door ding (see close up pictures in the Front Driver side fender. Drivers side window has roll-up and down scratches in it from 40+ years of use. No Rust issue’s found. Overall, this car Looks awesome, Runs very good and is a Pleasure to actually drive it. The 1972 Rally Sport model year Production #’s were around 11,000 units. Just over 4000 had the Muncie M-20 4 speed in ALL 1972 Camaro’s including SS, SS 396 and Z/28. 3700 of all models had Tilt Steering. Car is not 100% all original, but is very close and is basically stock. Car is collectible and somewhat rare depending on your point of view. Feel free to ask questions. The original 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Camaro Rally Sports all have the same 3 piece unique front end with the urethane nose piece. Rally Sport Camaro's in theses years are considered the "Split Bumper Camaro" not to be confused with the other split bumper Camaro's that someone simply replaces the straight bumper by adding the left and right bumperettes.NOTE, Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost. No, there are no engine knocks or funny sounds. I have been asked if there are any ticking sounds from the engine. No, there are no ticking sounds like lifters or exhaust leak or any other strange noises from the engine. I have been asked if the windshield is cracked or chipped, No, there are no chips I can see or and cracks found on the windshield, rear window, or side windows other than the roll up/down scratches I noted on the drivers side window. I have been asked if there is any engine smoke. Yes, upon cold start-up, a puff of smoke can be seen behind the car when I rev it up. I also believe that it is running rich too. It still runs very good and has plenty of power. I have been asked if there is any frame rust or leaf spring mounting rust. No rust that I can find. under the car either. I have a few pics of leaf spring mounts and a few other under the car pics. I can't add them because I have the max allowable picture limit already for the listing, email for these if you need them. I have been asked why I am selling and how long owned. Interested in an 1969 Z/28 and I have had this one a few months. The Car is available for inspection after 6:pm.On Oct-15-12 at 08:14:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked if the Car is truly a 350 ci Camaro. The Chrome Trim on the lower rockers looks good, window trim looks good, edge of hood and front fenders (rear portion) Look good. The Front and rear bumper chrome quality looks good.
