1968 International 1300 1 Ton 4X4 Pick Up V8 This truck has 6000 (Six Thousand) miles on it. All original matching V8 engine, drive train unmolested in any way. Bed is like brand new and has never had anything in it never used. I have the original build sheet. This truck along with several others were purchased in 1968 by a penitentiary in to be used as fire and maintenance vehicles. The beds were removed and replaced with fire equipment or tool beds. Beds were hoisted up into the rafters where they stayed for 43 years. The fire equipment was removed and bed was placed back onto this truck with only 6000 miles on the vehicle. The prison never had a fire. The truck was used by the prison staff to run for coffee or lunch every once in a while just so it would stay operational. This truck isn't even broken in yet. Runs perfectly. Does have miscellaneous small fluid leaks as one might expect on a 44 year old vehicle. No rust. Truck is almost 100% original with the exception of a fresh coat of paint , headliner . Paint was professionally and very tastefully done. Also including 6 X OE style wheels with 6 brand new tires mounted. Leave it as is or set it up as a dually. Working PTO and Detroit Locking Axles. Needs wiper blades. The wheels that are on the truck now are just on there so it can be moved around without using the OE wheels and brand new tires.
