UP for auction is Very Low time TRAIL rode only! 1982 Honda CR250. This has to be one of the lowest time, True survivor CR250's from this time period around. As you look at the pictures remember ..... This is a 30 year old bike. I would make a guess this bike only has about 10 hours on it. I am the second owner, the bike has a current Arizona title. The original owner only trail rode the bike and then kept it covered as I have done. The bike has always been inside a garage. The plastic is ALL original that came with the bike. NOT after market plastic, there are still the Honda part numbers on all the plastic. Seat is original with no tears or rips. There is a newer Uni-Filter foam air filter and the original air box lid/cover is still there, These were always tossed, but it is still on this bike. Look at the shine on the gas tank and fenders for a 30 year old bike!? The bike has new handle bars and grips, Vintage JR Aluminum silencer/spark arrestor , All the rubber parts are soft and like new. The cables are original and in good condition, A NEW drive chain was installed when I got the bike, the front and rear sprockets are still like new. Spokes nice and shiny, rims straight and NO cracks. I also installed NEW Dunlop front and rear tires with NEW tubes, because the original tires were hard and worn. This bike came with the DLS front brake and really stops on a dime, both front and rear brake shoes are in great shape, LIKE NEW. Wheel bearings have been greased and in good condition. Front forks have Vintage "Gator" fork wipers, I saved the one good original fork boots, the other fork boot was torn from a trail mishap. The botton frame rails are not crushed or flattened like on most CR's the bottom rails and frame are in great condition. The rear shock does not leak and has great dampening with shock bump stop still there and in great shape! The engine has never had a wrench on it, of course stock bore on the cylinder. No damage to the engine cases or no repairs. Look at the Original HONDA Chain rollers and chain buffers!! These are 30 years old and still look like new! I have started it twice, once when I got it and today when I put gas in it before listing it. The bike started 2nd kick, and then the gas was drained, the carburetor is still like new inside! This bike has been a garage queen, I don't have the heart to take such a clean old bike out on a ride but it is in ready to race/ride condition. I was planning on going through the bike but I liked it as is. This would be a great Rider, Racer or show piece for someone. I don't have the room or the time anymore for this bike. Remember there is a Current Arizona title for the bike if you are interested in overseas shipping. The bike is as it has been, sitting in the shed. I did not Armor-All it all up and make it all WET with a show room shine. It is as it is, a One of a kind vintage 1982 Honda CR250! There is of course no Warranty or Guarantee for a 30 year old bike, but it is in great shape and ready to ride or show I know of several shippers for delivery across the states or over the ocean. I can usually deliver to the Long Beach, or Southern California shippers for $250.00 that covers my Obama gas (5 bucks a gallon) and coffee.
