This is thought to be due to either a leaking head gasket or cracked head. The car still runs well, but the repair of this will run $800 - $2000 per dealer mechanic estimate. Continued use of the car without repair will likely result in engine failure, but there is no evidence of engine damage now. The top does have some small gaps and slight leaks that become evident in a high-pressure car wash. Clear coat is peeling on spoiler and other spots in paint, and some trim paint is worn off, but otherwise everything works well. This car presents an opportunity for someone who wants to complete the repairs and get a very fun and economical car at the end of the process.
