Vehicle Detail
We went speeding up the delta in search of German classic steel. We stopped at a small river front community to make our purchase. We were an hour from any metropolis when we encountered a friendly gentleman. He told us his wife's grandmother owned an airport and they stored this car in an airplane hanger for 20 years. The condition of the vehicle warranted a purchase and we quickly paid the man, traded paperwork and left. This is one of the most well preserved classics we have dug up lately. The body is absolutely gorgeous and if you're thinking about owning one of these for the long haul, look no further. What we have is a great classic Porsche loaded with cool features. I figured the top was an often repaired electric sunroof. I was wrong. It is actually a giant panel that lifts off quite easily. Another feature I liked was the back seats fold down. Good for stowing bicycles, skis, car parts and whatever items you hunt. The engines fires quite easily but cuts off. It hums a pleasant hum and we will work to get it to idle before the auction's close. The seals are amazing. They have kept out the elements and helped preserve this unusual automobile. I never had much love for these and now that I have one, it's a pleasant surprise. They've got cool little rain gutters above the doors and all the pieces fit very nicely. I can push the 924 by myself. It's very light and rolls easily. The dash is cracked and I can find one for you at my neighborhood salvage shop if you wish. I'll do more to tell you everything I can find out during the week and please ask your questions.
