Up for sale is a very rare 1954 chrysler town an country 9 pass. wagon! They only made a total of [1100] 1954 town an country wagons! I talked to a chrysler expert an he said that that they probably only made between 40 an 60 9 paas. wagons and he said at a 5% survial rate that ther is probabaly only a handful left! It shows its original colors inside and out.the car has been sitting in a garage since 1986! I traced the cars history back till 1958.A Chester Smith bought the car new in Palmyra, P.A. then he sold it to a collector in the late 70,s he was from the Harrisburg P.A. area. He sold at a auction in harrisburg in the early eighties, then a dealer bought in Hornell, N.Y. He sold it in 1984 to a person in canisteo, N.Y. Then I pursched the car from them this year. This would be a easy restoration or for a few thousad dollars you could make it a nice driver.The dash is in good shape along with insturment panel. Headliner is in very good shape along with the second and rear seat. Door side panels in good shape. Frame has some rust in rear by spring shackles and one spot on bottom of frame rail by drivers rear tire. Little rust on bottom of doors an reartailgate.Rusty under rockerpanels.If you look at picture of drivers rear door on bottom i hand buffed it an it can back to life.I havn"t cleaned the car this is how i got it. I had at a local shop an they got it started and drove into there shop. Carb needs rebuilding and also needs waterpump really bad.So if you want a car to take to a car show an there won't 10 others like it,then this car is for you! I would say you could take to a hundred car shows and not see a nother one! THIS IS ONE VERY RARE CAR!! The stainlees steel is in good condition as you can see it is missing some trim, but 54 windsor trim is the same an not New Yorker trim which is good because they made alot of 4dr. windsors. The wood in the back is good just needs redoing. The glass is in good shape an it is also factory tinted. This is a factory 9 pass. there is a extra tag on cowl that says aux seat see picture. There is no rust under hood an all chrome on dash is in good shape. I also have the orginal owners manual and the registration from 1958. Can' say for sure if milage is orginal.
