1978 HONDA CB750F Supersport F2 This is the last of the classic honda 750 four cylinder SOHC bikes, this is a decent example of a stock bike and that is the nice thing about it, it is stock It even comes with the original owners manual and tool kit! Although the bodywork has been repainted black and it isn't the best job it's also not the worst and the tank is dent free and clean so no drama in getting it repainted and looking great. The bike is showing it's age with some surface pitting and a little rust on the exhaust headers etc, but it's not bad and is still usable, the exhaust silencer has rusted out in the usual place where water can collect, you can see this in the pictures and I had thought about having it welded and patched but didn't want to make a mess of it...... So left it for somebody who wants to tackle it in their own way. The bike does need some brake work to be road worthy, one front caliper will need to be replaced as the bleed nipple has been chewed out, other than that I think the brakes just need a good service, some fresh fluid and maybe the calipers cleaned up. The motor runs well and sounds sweet, but could definately do with setting up, carbs balanced etc, as you have to get it warm to get it off the choke. But the bike does have a new battery so starts up on the button, If the brake work was done you could ride it away!! The only thing missing from the bike is the right side cover, but I do have the gold emblem for this and that will go with the bike.I think the best part about this bike is it's a blank canvas, it's stock and unmolested so it's a perfect candidate for restoration, cafe racer or just to make into a nice daily rider with very little work.
