This fine California 1971 Mercedes Benz 250 excels in so many ways. First off the car is a 100% rust free car with 105,267 original miles. It runs extremely well and the 250 actually feels more like a sports car than a passenger sedan. The car does not leak, smoke, overheat or make any unusual noises. The acceleration is very impressive! The car is a blast to drive. These engines are bullet proof and can last a lifetime if well cared for. She handles the raod beautifully and the entire drive train is solid and tight. The brakes, steering and suspension are all in great working condition. The car handles the road superbly. The transmission shifts like it should through all the gears. The entire drive train is as solid as they come. All mechanical electrical and climate control systems operate correctly. The car did come with air conditioning however the compressor was removed for increased horsepower. All four power windows go up and down with ease. The matching set of correct Michelin tires are near new. Cosmetically the 250 is a gem. The finish has a lustrous shine. The body, chassis and frame are all completely rust free. All chrome fittings, bumpers, lights, lenses, handles and trim are in amazing original and un-restored condition. There are minimal chips and minimal imperfections. No dents....The paint appears to be the original factory finish. The car is crisp and clean. All rubber, trim, moldings, lights and lenses are A++. The car still wears it's original "blue and yellow" front and rear license plates which verifies it's California heritage. The interior is gorgeous and all original with beautiful wood accents. No tears, stains or foul odors.... -The dash has one crack -door panels, carpeting, seats and headliner are all in tip top condition. Nice Sony am/fm/cd/mp3 player works and sounds great!
